The Town of Oakland’s “2021 Santa’s Lane” event is returning bigger and jollier than ever with more lights and new activities on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Town Center, offering brand-new experiences and bringing the community together for holiday fun.
At “Santa’s Lane,” guests will have the opportunity to sit with Santa and the elves once again for a jolly photo and they will even get to go home with a special treat from the North Pole, while supplies last. Plus, guests can see Santa’s arrival in a horse-drawn carriage from the comfort of their homes. Santa’s route will be posted at www.oaklandlf.gov and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/OakTownUSA soon.
Contribute to the monthly staff luncheon / snack, beverage, coffee cabinet. We need your contributions to make this event a success. This is a great opportunity to give back to the OACS staff and earn Volunteer Hours! PTO will post details and a sign up on Bloomz each month.
This month students may bring an unwrapped toy for the annual Winter Garden Police Department Toy Drive or a minimum $1 donation toward this cause. (Each month we designate the donated funds to a different cause ranging from OACS projects/committees, Oakland Heritage Day, Juvenile Diabetes, and the American Heart Association to name a few. This is a great way to show our Eagle spirit and enjoy a casual dress day! Teachers will collect dollars in the classroom. Students may wear what they wish as long as they adhere to the non-uniform dress code).
