Orton Gillingham Model School

OACS is excited to announce our continued partnership with the REED Foundation, as an Orton-Gillingham Model School in the 2025-2026 academic year. This collaboration continues to foster an enriching learning environment, aligning our instruction with the science of reading. We began to implement this approach in January 2022 with training and support from the REED Foundation and are proud to say it has been adopted in all K-5 classrooms, with all teachers being trained. Our VPK teachers have also participated in training, equipping them to introduce preliminary OG concepts. We look forward to the continued support and celebrate the success our students have had as a result of embracing and implementing this approach.
