Saturday, April 13th is the Town of Oakland's 5th Annual "Celebration Among the Oaks" Spring Event! Festivities start at the Town of Oakland Meeting Hall at 11:00 a.m. and continue through 2:00 p.m. The kids Easter Egg Hunt will be in Vanderlay Park from 12-12:30 p.m. and you can meet the Easter Bunny from11:00-12:00 p.m. and from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Come for a day filled with family fun, including pictures with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, a petting zoo and pony rides, balloon artist, face painting, food trucks and more! Train rides will be available for the kids for $1.00 a ride and food will be available to purchase. There will be a lot of fun carved into one fantastic day! The Fourth Annual Oakland Nature Preserve - Night at the Preserve tickets are still available for purchase! Night at the Preserve takes place on Saturday, April 13th from 6-9 p.m. and all proceeds go to support the Oakland Nature Preserve. Advanced Ticket Purchases are required.
