Highlighting the successful story of restoration, The Town of Oakland and the Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center are thrilled to announce an exciting series of events that tell the story of Lake Apopka through an art + history exhibit, running August 16, 2024 through October 31, 2024.
The exhibit opens on Friday, August 16, 2024, showcasing art and photography art from more than 30 local artists. The reception will also include alligator encounters from Gatorland, Florida, live banjo music from Anothy Dixon, a beloved local theme park musician, and food offerings from Hot Dog Therapy, Clukerz Chicken, and Oakland General.
