Hurricane Milton - Post Storm Info
10/15/24 2:25 p.m. update
Debris Collection
As you begin clean-up, please keep vegetative debris separate from construction or household trash. Mixing them will delay your pick-up. The Town has contracted additional waste clean-up crews, but collection will take time. Your patience is appreciated!
Bag or place small debris (twigs, sticks, leaves) in a trash can.
Larger branches can be piled by the curb but NOT near storm drains, fire hydrants, power lines, or street signs. This makes it impossible to pick up!
Trash Collection
Waste Management has resumed normal pick-up schedules.
Park Closure Notice
Speer is closed until further notice. This closure also applies to the Tennis and Pickleball Courts.
Please be patient as crews work to clear debris and verify that all equipment is safe for use. We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates as soon as the parks are ready to reopen.
Sand Bags
Dispose of the sand in your yard or gardens. For empty sandbags, place them in your trash can for pickup.

Per Orange County: If you are on the road, you are urged to drive with caution. The County is still experiencing wind and rain.
