Recycling will not be collected on Thursday, December 25th 2025 in observance of the Christmas holiday. The collection date will be Saturday, December 27th. There is no interruption to solid waste collection, it will be a regular collection day on Friday, December 26th.
The week of New Years Day will follow the regular schedule for both solid waste and recycling collection.
*Please note* The Town of Oakland Public Works Department will pause the collection of debris piles beginning the week of December 22nd, 2025. Debris pickup will resume on Wednesday, January 7th 2026. Any debris in cans, or small piles that are manageable, will be picked up by Waste Pro on Wednesdays during normal yard waste collection.
